Here are a few of my earlier portraits. I took a class while I was in NYC. These were done in the studio with real lighting. I know that there are a fair bit of technical issues to some of these, but I wanted to put them up. Thanks to all my fellow classmates for being great sports!

This was a great engagement shoot. I love Becky and Josh, and I can't wait for their wedding. We ran around NYC for a few hours and came away with some wonderful shots. Here are a few of them:

Pine Cone Portraits

I was very fortunate to work with some wonderful models lately. I had a great little photo shoot with three pine cones while at White Lake. Here are some examples of their amazing work.

First Birthday Part II

Here are a few more shots of beautiful Ella at her first birthday party. You can't get much more picture perfect than that bow, smile and little wicker rocking chair. I think her smile is proof that her parents threw her a perfect party. She certainly was at the center of it all! Happy Birthday Ella!

Wishing it was Warmer

Usually by this time of year I am dreaming of summer. I know it is only the beginning of February, but I am already thinking about warmer weather. This shot was taken last summer in upstate NY along the Hudson, and it reminds me of a perfect summer afternoon. This wonderful  model is my sister-in-law. We had a great time in this small river town, and a lot of the architecture is absolutely perfect. I love the small town feel and the slower pace that comes with that. I could do this amazing weekend vacation all over again right about now. Wish I was there!

First Birthday

I was thrilled to be present for Ella's first birthday party. Her parents asked me to take a few shots to document the party, and she was perfect. It certainly helped that she seemed to love the camera, and was always ready with a smile that will melt your heart. More to come from this day!
